The Trust started its medical services on a small scale, today it has a full-fledged multi speciality 24 x 7 running hospital with 48 beds (to be expanded to 102 beds by Nov. 2024), ICU, Dialysis, Diagnostics (275-300 blood samples, 70-80 X-Ray and 80-100 Sonographies per day), Oncology with Pain & Palliative Care department, Joint replacement, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, ERCP Centre. KHM Hospital is proud to be the only subsidized (the OPD charge varies from Rs.30/- to Rs. 300/- for speciality consultation) charitable multi-speciality hospital providing quality care in this part of suburbs serving lower and lower middle class population. Approximately we cater 3.75 to 4 lacs patients every year.
Recently we inaugurated Modular Operation Theatre Complex constructed on 4th Floor which is equipped for doing all types of surgeries which is operational now. Its made as per NABH Guideline. This OT is made with one of the best and expensive material i.e. Korean which is Solid mineral surface to prevent microorganism from settling on it, thus minimizing infection and with Laminar airflow in all operation theatre.
We started CT Scan machine with 24×7 services in the month of February 2024. We have dedicated Ophthalmic (Eye) Department started in 1982, where we have full fledged Ophthalmic set up including Corneal transplant with latest equipment’s to provide quality service to poor and needy population. We do approximately 3500-4000 cataract surgeries and 1000 retina & other eye surgeries at highly subsidised cost. Out of which 1000 to 1200 are free surgeries.
We also have full-fledged set-up of Nephrology and Urology (started in 1996) in our hospital. Our 13 bedded day care dialysis unit operates in 3 shifts. Approximately 45-50 patients get dialysis in day care and IPD daily. Hence almost 15000 Dialysis sessions are conducted by our Dialysis department every year at highly subsidised cost. Out of which 4000 to 4500 are Free dialysis sessions.
In last few years, we also started providing subsidised Cancer treatment both Medical and Surgical at our hospital. We have an excellent team of Oncologists. Our specialized and super speciality OPD services are complemented by a IPD facility of 48 beds, currently our ICU features 10 beds and 6 ventilators set out to reach an expansion of 102 beds by Nov. 2024.
Khm Hospital Has 140 Consultants (Md,Ms. Dm, Mch) On Panel. We Treat Approximately Around 2.5 To 3 Lakhs Patients Per Year. On To Be Added Fourth Floor, Our Future Expansion Plan Is To Have – Modular Operation Theatres, Kidney Centre (Ward) And Cancer Ward. KHM Hospital Is Proud To Be The Only Subsidized (E.G.Rs.100/- For Speciality Consultant, Rs.100/- For Ecg.) Charitable Multispeciality Hospital In This Part Of Suburbs Serving Low And Lower Middle Class Common Man.
